Abstract:

One of the upcoming challenges in the field of globalization of culture is the issue of ASSIMILATION or ASSIMILATION of culture. In the discussions of cultural convergence and homogenization, attention has often been paid to globalization and ASSIMILATION, rather than examining the process of homogenization of cultures, which will be achieved by universal acceptance and public persuasion towards a superior and more complete culture. The purpose of the current research, which was carried out in a descriptive-analytical and library way, is to investigate the ASSIMILATION of different cultures, identities and values. The results of the present research show that the intellectual foundations of Islam have been placed for the homogenization of the world for the sake of human dignity. The design and implementation of these intellectual foundations is for all humanity, far from any color, race, nationality, etc. The intellectual basis of Islam is complete and it is the source of revelation and wants the all-round happiness of humanity. But on the other hand, the intellectual foundations of the West for ASSIMILATION seek to dominate humanity and to achieve their goals. These foundations are incomplete and have a one-dimensional view of humanity. It does not pursue the all-round development of humanity and is only to meet the material needs of mankind; Therefore, it can be said that the West does not have the authority to lead this ASSIMILATION.

Abstract:

Characterization of large reservoir models with a great number of uncertain parameters is frequently carried out by ensemble-based ASSIMILATION methods, due to their computational efficiency, ease of implementation, versatility, and non-necessity of adjoint code. In this study, multiple ensemble-based ASSIMILATION techniques are utilized to characterize the well-known PUNQ-S3 model. Accordingly, actual measurements are employed to determine porosity, horizontal and vertical permeabilities, and their associated uncertainties. In consequence, the uncertain parameters of the model will gradually be adapted toward the true values during the ASSIMILATION of actual measurements, including bottomhole pressure and production rates of the reservoir. Monotonic reduction of root-mean-squared error and capturing the key points of the maps (such as direction of anisotropy and porosity/permeability contrasts) verify successful estimation of the geostatistical properties of the PUNQ-S3 model during history matching. At the end of the ASSIMILATION process, the RMSE values for Deterministic Ensemble Kalman Filter, Ensemble Kalman Filter, Ensemble Kalman Filter with Bootstrap Regularization, Ensemble Transform Kalman Filter Symmetric Solution, Ensemble Transform Kalman Filter Random Rotation, and Singular Evolutive Interpolated Kalman filter are 1.120, 1.153, 1.132, 1.132, 1.129, and 1.113, respectively. In addition to RMSE, the quality of history match as well as prediction of future performance are looked into in order to assess the performance of the ASSIMILATION process. Obviously, the results of the ensemble-based ASSIMILATION methods closely match the true results both in the history match section and in the future prediction section. Besides, the uncertainty of future predictions is quantified using multiple history-matched realizations. This is due to the fact that Kalman-based filters use a Bayesian framework in the ASSIMILATION step. Accordingly, the updated ensemble members are samples of the posterior distribution through which the uncertainty of future performance is assessed.

Abstract:

Marriage patterns are different between countries and even among different ethnic groups within countries. Such differences are determined by both ethnic-cultural factors as well as socio-economic ones. The present paper uses the data from the 1991 Household Socio- Economic CHARACTERISTICs to examine marriage patterns among ethnic groups in Iran, to identify the impact of ethnicity on these patterns. The results indicate that there are distinct marriage patterns among ethnic groups in Iran. Various analyses also show that after controlling socio-economic and demographic factors, ethnic differences in marriage patterns remain in the model. In other words, ethnicity has an independent role in the explanation of ethnic differentials in marriage patterns. The result of research shows that though ethnic norms and values are important and influensive in patterns of marriage but some other factors such as modernization and socio-economic determinants have also been important, too. Anthropological-demographic studies using qualitative methods can provide a deeper understanding on the impacts of ethnic norms, values and practices on marriage patterns and family in Iran.

Abstract:

This paper deals with parameter estimation of SWAT model by means of streamflow data ASSIMILATION and application of calibrated model for hydrological simulation of Mahabad River leading to Urmia Lake. Data ASSIMILATION algorithem is compared with SUFI2 algorithem. SUFI2 is an uncertaintybased optimization method first developed for auto-calibration of environmental and water resource models. Due to availablity in SWAT-CUP package this is usually used for calibration of SWAT. To illustrate capabilities of data ASSIMILATION for calibration of the model and prediction of the river discharge, Ensemble Kalman Filter (EnKF) is utilized in a joint state-parameter estimation framework. Both coding EnKF and calling SWAT is done in MATLAB environment. Results showed that the joint state-parameter estimation using EnKF for SWAT, lead to improvement of accuracy of simulation and prediction of Mahabad River’s monthly discharge at Bitass hydrometery gauge compared to parameter estimation of the model using SUFI2.

Abstract:

ASSIMILATION is a process which refers to the influence exercised by one sound segment upon the articulation of another, so that the sounds become more alike, or identical. Dissimilation is the opposite process. It refers to the influence exercised by one sound segment upon the articulation of another, so that the sounds become less alike, or different. In traditional and classical linguistic researches, these phonetical changes are called Momāle or Emāle. This morphological term was first used by Arab grammarians. In Arabic traditional grammar books, the change of /a/ to /e/ or /ā/ to /ē/and in general, the vowel changes because of the following or preceding vowels are referred to as MomāIe.In this paper, the author describes ASSIMILATION and dissimilation in the following cases:A) ASSIMILATION of two adjacent syllables:1. ASSIMILATION of the vowel /ā/ in the second syllable of a word under the influence of the vowel /e/ in the preceding syllable: 'emād / 'amid, rekāb / rakīb,(hasāb/hasīb;2. ASSIMILATION of the vowel/ā/ in the first syllable under the influence of /e/in the following syllable: āmen īmen, lāken I līken, malā'eke I mali'eke;3. ASSIMILATION as a result of the influence of the vowels /o/ and /a/ in the words like qorbī /qorbā, solmī / solmā, oqbī / oqbā, da 'wī / da 'wā, hākazī /hākazā.B) Dissimilation in successive syllables in a word:1. The words rhyming with mofā 'ala:in such four-syllable words, the vowel /a/in the third syllable is changed into the vowel /e/:molāheze, mozākere,monāqeše;2. In Arabic words rhyming with fa 'āla, the vowel /a/ in the first syllable is changed into /e/: sedāqat, qenā 'at, resālat.

Abstract:

The regional waters in Singapore Strait are characterized by complex hydrodynamic phenomena as a result of the combined effect of three large water bodies viz. the South China Sea, the Andaman Sea, and the Java Sea. This leads to anomalies in water levels and generates residual currents. Numerical hydrodynamic models are generally used for predicting water levels in the ocean and seas. But their correctness is typically limited by several factors, namely the complexity associated with the coastal geometry and uncertainty in the flow forcing factors like (winds, pressure and deep ocean tides). Modeling of ocean dynamics in the Malacca strait and Singapore regional waters is particularly challenging due to the presence of large number of smaller islands and strongly nonlinear tidal interactions. The complexity is further enhanced due to the composite local bathymetry and geometry variations around the Singapore Island and meteorological effects on different scales. This study acknowledges the enhancement and better prediction of tides and surges through the use of data ASSIMILATION. Through a portable interface OpenDA, an ensemble Kalman filter is integrated with a hydrodynamic model to enhance the model predictions. To assess the sensitivity and evaluate model enhancement, a twin experiment is designed to improve tidal boundary forcing effect in a semienclosed estuary. The key outcomes of this study signify that the model results can be significantly improved in this complex flow regime.
